Chip joined Grove Street Partners in January 2005 as a Partner with the founding members, Kevin Kern and John Williams. Chip's principle focus is
management of the architectural and construction responsibilities
for each development project.
Chip brings 35 years of multi-faceted and diversified experience in the real estate industry. Most recently he served for ten years as a Partner and Executive Vice President of Property Management and Leasing of Carter & Associates with business unit responsibility for the 23 million square foot office, industrial and retail portfolio throughout the Southeast.
Prior to Carter he was President of New Market Management, a 12 million square foot retail portfolio of owned and third-party properties throughout its 10 state geographic area.
Previous development and leasing experience include the successful completion of Lakeside Commons and Crescent Centre office buildings for Metro Development and the leasing of Park Place Shopping Center, Georgia Pacific Center and The Terrace Office Buildings for Taylor & Mathis.
Chip is a graduate of Georgia Tech, involved in various community associations including past board member Buckhead Baseball, Trustee of Wesleyan School and an Elder at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, Chairman of Building Committee; Wesleyan School and Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
